Benji Desjardins is a creative storyteller with a passion for building imaginative worlds that entertain, inspire, and spark curiosity. His storytelling approach combines adventure, humor, fantasy, and meaningful life lessons, creating stories that resonate with both younger readers and adults who still enjoy the wonder of great adventures.

In Skeeters, Benji transforms a familiar insect into the foundation of an entire civilization complete with its own culture, heroes, legends, and mysteries. The result is a richly imagined world where readers discover that courage, kindness, and determination can emerge from the most unexpected places.

His writing reflects a deep appreciation for character-driven storytelling. Rather than relying solely on action and spectacle, Benji focuses on relationships, personal growth, and the choices that shape a hero’s journey. Carlos and Caesar may begin as ordinary cousins enjoying a quiet life, but their story quickly evolves into a powerful exploration of responsibility, friendship, and self-discovery.
